The Mock Talk

After another quick visit from Grandpa and Grandma,

it was time for Mommy to go back to work and for Kaylor to get into his routine of Nana and G-man keeping him. It was tough transition for me to get used to, but, thankfully, I was able to reduce my hours slightly at work to be able to spend a little bit more time at home with my little man. We also feel incredibly blessed that his grandparents are willing and able to come to our house to watch him. It is the very best childcare scenario we could hope for! Our schedule started falling into place and was working out great! I must say that I really look forward to and appreciate my weekends at home even more now that I get to spend them with both of my guys.

Kaylor started sleeping really well this month. He would make it at least 8 hours at a stretch usually and then go back to sleep for another 3-4 hours after that. Our routines for getting ready for bed and getting up in the mornings were getting really consistent, and things were going great. He was still growing really well and eating a lot! Kaylor gave us all kinds of sweet smiles and was starting to make more and more sounds. He loved getting to watch Riggins in the back yard and go out with Mommy and Daddy on the weekends.

Kaylor started getting a little more active and "filled with the Spirit" at church, so we started taking him to the nursery. He does really well there and usually gets to be the only boy in a room full of baby girls… watch out! Kaylor had his first night away from home when we went to Marion to spend some time with family and friends.
